Nose: Pleasant aromas of anise, fennel, and clifftop herbs are accompanied by notes of violets. Elegant and very refined.
Palate: Lovely in texture with a silky mouthfeel, notes of sweet liquorice and a little lemon, before resinous leafy flavours and a touch of lemon balm. This gin has a really pleasant and refreshing succulence to it.
Finish: An oily finish with clear juniper and zesty coriander flavours and a gentle warmth.
Comments: A gin with an excellent complexity and intensity that would be wonderful in a Negroni.

Nose: Earthy juniper – think pine trees. Is lightened up by lavender that brings a floral element to it and depth.
Palate: More of the juniper – it’s a bit brighter and fresher than it was on the nose. Rain on hot tarmac. Sweetness eventually comes through as orange peels and orange segments. A liquorice note rounds that sweetness off.
Finish: Long and spicy – a touch of ginger.
Comments: Seems unlikely to offend anybody, it carries classic notes to appeal to purists and a few quirks to please those who want modern twists.
