Rob
Nose: Caramel popcorn, chamomile flowers and then honey roast cashew nuts. Shredded Wheat with hot milk and brown sugar. Roasted tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and rock salt. Damson jam.
Palate: Orange cough sweets, packets of lemon and lime sherbet. Almonds with sugar coating. Fizzy cola bottles. Amoretti biscuits and vanilla custard, apples and cinnamon.
Finish: The heat starts to build, pickled chillies with a soft, cream cheese tang.
Comments: One serious bag of nuts, almonds, almonds and more almonds. Glorious.

Christopher
Nose: Dried apricot, tinned peaches, dried mango, honeycomb, orange blossom water, saffron rice.
Palate: Poached pear in orange brandy liqueur, think of Grand Marnier’s balance of orange and Cognac notes. Lime jelly and clementine segments, well balanced tannin and the heat of fresh ginger.
Finish: Medium length. The clementine and ginger persists.
Comments: Fruity and intense, but a little hot and not too complex. Water brings out a pleasant creaminess that completes the dessertlike experience.
