Rob
Nose: Forest-like to begin with, leaf mulch and moos. Bow rosin, violin cases with old polished wood and crushed velvet fabric. Honey Nut Clusters. Fresh oak casks, more honey and vanilla, and wood tannins.
Palate: Orange and lemon Flying Saucer sweets. Orange zestladen marmalade with soda bread and salted butter. Warm croissants and apricot jam.
Finish: Hot chilli heat kicks in. A little orange syrup underneath. Baked bread yeasty note too.
Comments: Like drinking your favourite whisky with a marmalade basted ham joint. Lovely.

Nose: Fresh and vibrant. Lemon drizzle cake, sparkling elderflower cordial, limeade, chamomile, and coconutflavoured rum.
Palate: Mouth coating, lemon and lime juice with allspice – evocative of a whisky sour. Gentle tannin and creaminess with water. Icing sugar sweetness.
Finish: The citrus fades into greener notes of lemongrass and celery.
Comments: I think this one wanted to be limoncello when it grew up, before abandoning its dreams to take up the serious business of being malt whisky.
