We start with Bathtub Explorer’s Edition: a stronger version of the classic, flavoursome Bathtub Gin that is made using botanicals such as cassia, cardamom and orange. The Explorer’s Edition works particularly well in a variation on Highball – a drink that is popular in Japan, but is rapidly gaining favour across the globe – and whilst the drink is traditionally whisky-based, it works very well with the spice and citrus of this gin.

Ingredients

35ml Bathtub Gin 100ml Sparkling Water

Add the gin to a tall glass filled with plenty of large ice cubes and top-up with sparkling water. Garnish with a long slice of lemon peel.
