A bit of a theme starts to emerge here – this is a high-strength version of Caoruun Gin, made using the same, locally-foraged botanicals, including: rowan berries, bog myrtle, and coul blush apple. Caoruun works particularly well with apple: it’s their suggested garnish for a Gin & Tonic, and this twist on a Gin Spritz makes for a notably crisp and refreshing drink.
Ingredients
25ml Caoruun Distiller’s Cut Gin
25ml Apple Juice
75ml Sparkling Water (or even prosecco if you’re feeling particularly festive!)
Add the gin and juice to a Champagne flute and top-up with your choice of fizz. Garnish with a thin slice of apple.
