Edinburgh Gin bar at new Plaza Premium Group executive lounge

Plaza Premium Group and Edinburgh Gin have joined forces to unveil a new executive lounge at Edinburgh Airport.

The lounge, which features an Edinburgh Gin bar as its centrepiece, offers members and visitors a sense of relaxed luxury and an escape from the bustle of the airport.

There are several areas to suit all pre-travel requirements, including the main lounge, an interactive zone with a climbing wall and wallmounted games, a dining area, and a VIP viewing room. The lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Firth of Forth bridges and the runway to the north, the Pentland Hills to the south, and Edinburgh city to the east.

The Art Deco-style Edinburgh Gin bar features colourful displays of botanicals, intricate brass and glass detailing, and a faceted bar front. It hosts the widest range of Edinburgh Gin serves available in any on-trade setting, including two new gins which are not available in any other on-trade outlet. In addition to 12 Edinburgh Gin products, the bar stocks a range of other spirits from parent company Ian Macleod Distillers, including whiskies from Glengoyne, Tamdhu and Smokehead, and Langs Rum.
