AFTER HIS SUPERB performances this year in the Tour de France and La Vuelta, Britain’s Chris Froome will be hoping to recover in time to compete in the men’s individual time trial at Bergen, Norway, on Sunday.
Britain’s national champion Steve Cummings could also be in contention after fracturing two vertebrae during Le Tour. This year’s time trial covers a 31km course – the shortest in the event’s history – but features a gruelling finish at Mount Floyen with gradients of nine per cent.
