WILDLIFE PRESENTER KATE HUMBLE co-hosted Springwatch from 2005 to 2011 and was also a regular contributor on Countryfile between 2000 and 2004. A farmer herself, she has hosted the BBC’S Animal Park since 2000, featuring the keepers and animals at Longleat Safari Park. She’s also fronted several live shows including Lambing Live and Volcano Live.

FOR EIGHT-PART series The Weekend Workshop, Humble, 51, opens up her farm in Monmouthshire to try her hand at various redesigns and reinventions from her workshop, using recycled items. Taking on two projects in each episode, she makes some unique household items and mini-build projects for her home and farm using old junk and long-forgotten items gathering dust around her house. Design enthusiasts Max Mcmurdo and Zoe Pocock co-host.
