A rude, irreverent and, in places, very funny new spin on the buddy comedy formula. Mark Wahlberg plays a slacker whose best friend – a teddy bear – was magically brought to life by a childhood wish. Years later, Ted has turned into a foul-mouthed, cynical has-been, and the pair spend their time smoking, drinking and generally goofing around. The film is uneven, but when the protagonists are on a roll it is also downright hilarious. 2012, 15, 106MIN
