Genre: Fantasy drama Eps: 10 In a fresh take on the legend of King Arthur, the tale is told from the perspective of the Lady of the Lake. Nimue (13 Reasons Why’s Katherine Langford) is tasked with delivering a sword to Merlin and, as she embarks on her dangerous mission, she meets scruffy knight Arthur (Devon Terrell).

1980s until a group of federal agents set about doing the unthinkable and bringing them down. This true-crime series reveals how the FBI targeted the families by using undercover agents.
Greyhound
Genre: Drama Eps: One-off Tom Hanks stars in this World War Two drama, which he
also adapted from CS
Forester’s novel The Good
Shepherd. He plays a US Navy officer given command of his first ship – a destroyer with the call
sign Greyhound – in 1942. He must lead a convoy of boats carrying soldiers and vital supplies across the Atlantic as German U-boats lurk.
Hamilton
Genre: Musical Eps: One-off Lin-manuel Miranda takes the title role in a filmed version of his blockbuster hip-hop musical about one of America’s Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton, who helped establish the country’s Constitution in the late 18th century. The original Broadway cast features with Miranda.
Hanna
Genre: Action drama Eps: 8 Season two of the action thriller about a rebellious teenager Hanna (Esmé Creed-miles) who discovers she’s one of a brigade of genetically enhanced super-soldiers created by the CIA. Hanna is now living off-grid with another trainee super-soldier, Clara (Yasmin Monet Prince), but CIA operative John Carmichael (Dermot Mulroney) wants Clara back.
Muppets Now
Genre: Comedy Eps: 6 (released weekly) The Muppets’ new magazine-style show streams weekly on Disney+. Miss Piggy has her own fitness-and-beauty slot, the Swedish Chef hosts a cookery segment and Kermit has a chat-show section. Famous faces taking part include Rupaul, Seth Rogen and Parks
and Recreation’s Aubrey Plaza. Episode one is available from Friday 31 July.
The Old Guard
Genre: Superhero drama Eps: One-off Oscar-winner Charlize Theron stars as the leader of a group of immortal mercenaries in this action thriller. The fighters have battled for generations to protect mankind from destruction, but the Old Guard’s latest mission goes wrong and their hidden immortality is threatened with exposure.
Radioactive
Genre: Drama Eps: One-off Rosamund Pike plays groundbreaking scientist Marie Curie in a biopic chronicling the Polish-french chemist’s personal relationships and scientific successes, including Marie and her husband, Pierre (Sam Riley),
being awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 for research into radioactivity.

Genre: Drama Eps: 6
The Handmaid’s Tale’s Yvonne Strahovski heads the cast of a topical drama set in an Australian detention centre. She plays Sofie Werner, a flight attendant of German descent suffering from mental-health problems. Accused of providing authorities with a false identity, she is wrongly detained at the remote location. The series’ co-creator, Mrs America star Cate Blanchett, also features.
The Umbrella Academy
Genre: Superhero drama Eps: 10 In season two, the superhero siblings have leapt through a time-and-space portal and find themselves in Dallas, Texas, in the early 1960s. But they are scattered over a three-year time period and must find each other before the advent of another apocalypse. Available from Friday 31 July.
Warrior Nun
Genre: Fantasy drama Eps: 10 A secret society of warrior nuns are dedicated to protecting the world from demons in this fantasy drama based on the 1990s comic books. Their newest recruit is Ava (Alba Baptista), who wakes up in a morgue and discovers that she possesses a variety of superpowers.
The Young Offenders
Genre: Comedy Eps: 6 Series three of the Irish comedy following the adventures of Cork teenage tearaways Conor and his best friend and foster brother Jock. Conor’s mother, Mairéad, who is also Jock’s guardian, tries to keep the pair on the straight and narrow. This time, the lads have Jock’s baby in tow.
