Cast your vote in the TV Times Awards – and be a winner yourself
It has been the year of the comeback, with shows like Cold Feet and Goodnight Sweetheart making welcome returns in a remarkable 12 months of telly.
And now it’s time for you to vote for your favourites in the 2016 TV Times Awards. Cast your vote and you could pick up one of 20 prizes, each worth £50 in Tesco shopping vouchers.
There are 11 categories, each with a shortlist of six. All you have to do is complete the form (right), or vote online at whatsontv.co.uk/tvtawards
The Favourite Actor category looks hugely competitive, with James Nesbitt turning in a fabulous performance in Cold Feet, while Tom Hiddleston caused a splash in spy drama The
Night Manager and Aidan Turner is once again being a mean, moody machine in Poldark.
In the Favourite Actress category, Keeley Hawes was wonderfully warm in The Durrells, Sarah Lancashire gripped the nation in Happy Valley and Jenna Coleman showed there’s life after Doctor Who by starring in Victoria.
Nominees for Favourite Newcomer include
Max Vento, the little boy who wowed audiences in The A Word, and young Milo Parker, who played animal-lover Gerald in The Durrells.
Steve Mcfadden (Eastenders), Jane Danson (Corrie) and Danny Miller (Emmerdale) are among the contenders for Favourite Soap Star.
Goodnight Sweetheart and Still Open All Hours are up for Favourite Comedy Show, along with David Mitchell’s Shakespeare spoof Upstart Crow.
Vote now and you’ll be entered into our prize draw. The closing date is 17 October 2016.
