Karl rushes to stricken Brad’s aid Thank heavens for Dr Karl. This week, he’s on hand when Brad collapses at the hospital, where Lauren has been recuperating from the balloon crash. Lauren thinks her fiancé is stressed over her lack of excitement about the wedding, but fears something more serious is going on when Karl sends her out of the room. As Brad’s health deteriorates and Karl seems baffled, nurse Eve suggests Lauren get a second opinion. Elsewhere, David inadvertently helps Eve’s witch-hunt of Karl, while Sonya, Toadie, Mark and Steph are in for a wake-up call at their first surrogacy interview, and the Cannings appear on the Aussie version of Family Fortunes.
