Rebecca fears she’s having a miscarriage when she’s struck down with stomach pains
Rebecca and Chrissie have rarely seen eye to eye, but when the mum-tobe is struck down with terrible stomach pains and fears for her unborn child, it’s her big sister who rushes to her aid.
The feisty blonde should be able to turn to the baby’s father for help – but care and support is sadly lacking from Robert, who insists he doesn’t want to be involved. Even Aaron, who has every reason to feel resentful, can see that the grownup thing to do is stand by Rebecca, and he declares that he will be there for Robert when his child is born.
Dad Lawrence isn’t exactly showering Rebecca with TLC, either. Robert has caused the White family a whole heap of grief over the years, and he can’t believe that his daughter has been daft enough to let the love rat get her pregnant.
Chrissie also knows how toxic Robert is but, unlike Lawrence, she feels sorry for her sister – especially when Rebecca has crippling tummy pains. Fearing she’s losing the baby, she rushes her sibling to hospital. Will everything be okay?
In the wake of the drama, Rebecca comes to a big decision
– she wants to leave Emmerdale and forget about all the bad things that have happened since she arrived in the village. Having bought a one way ticket to Ibiza last week, will she leave on a jet plane, and never come back?
