Cobie Smulders, a duo on the wrong side of a dirty tricks operation in Afghanistan. Enjoy the stunts because the plot struggles a bit – a backstory about Reacher’s love child should be a film of its own – but Cruise and Smulders have chemistry and she nearly steals the film.
