In a Himalayan village, generations of dogs have guarded the local sheep from wolves. Khampa (voiced by JK Simmons), the current warrior dog, expects his son Bodi (Luke Wilson) to follow family tradition, but Bodi yearns to become a musician... The young pup heads to the city to pursue his dream, but wolf Linnux (Lewis Black) dispatches his henchmen to kidnap him... This CGI comedy adventure’s blend of music biz satire, quirky characters and fun action is rather endearing. The voice cast fit their parts to a T, especially Eddie Izzard’s incredibly cool cat.
