Welcome to the world of the nation’s weekend warriors, in a series eavesdropping on teams who play for little more than love and glory. The brilliantly simple concept plays fly on the wall in various changing rooms, this week belonging to the Crusaders, footballing Three Bridges FC and basketball side Tees Valley Mohawks as they assemble before the game, then again for the coach’s half-time lovebombing/hairdryer and finally for postmatch high-fives or dejection.
