A death in France
The French Revolution has cast a shadow over life for Ross in series three, particularly after his best mate, Dr Dwight Enys (Luke norris), went missing after a naval battle.
Ross now knows that Dwight is languishing in a prison camp and next week enlists the help of his friends Tholly Tregirls, Zacky martin and Captain Henshawe, plus brother-in-law Drake Carne, to join in him in carrying out a dramatic rescue mission. The stakes are higher than ever and not everyone will make it back alive...
aidan says all the cast relished the challenges this storyline brought, including learning how to fire a musket: ‘We were running around with guns and breaking into prisons, and there’s a lot of espionage. It was tons of fun.’
