IT’S A Girl!
There’s cause for celebration at nampara as Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Ross welcome the arrival of their baby daughter, Clowance, this week.
In series one, the couple were heartbroken when their first daughter, Julia, tragically died after contracting putrid throat. Then, last series, Demelza dramatically went into labour while out fishing before giving birth to their son, Jeremy.
This time, Demelza’s contractions start while she’s gardening and the brave lass decides to give birth without medical help. When Ross returns home, he’s delighted to meet his new daughter.
‘We picked up this series with Ross mending his relationship with Demelza,’ says Aidan.
‘They have their own family to think of now.’
As they start planning the christening, Ross wants to invite his Aunt Agatha, but what will happen when he finally discovers how badly she is being treated under George’s roof ?
