Now it’s the playground of the posh, an oasis of opulence where money talks and anything is possible if your bank balance is big enough. In the first of their latest series on the super-rich, Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have the tough job of sampling the hotels, cars and homes of Dubai’s loaded locals. From taking a Range Rover for a spin on the dunes to meeting entrepreneurs who made it big by catering for the demands of the rich, the pair have a ball noseying around – and we love how they are never afraid to ask ‘how much?’!
