Erica invites Kevin to meet her at a hotel for some afternoon delight
Having recently shared a kiss, are Kevin and Erica now about to go to fourth base? It looks that way when Erica calls in at the garage this week and asks Kevin to meet her at a hotel for a secret romp.
The blonde is bored and aching for fun – as most women who go out with Dev tend to feel – but all her boyfriend can think about is opening his refurbished shop.
Kevin, meanwhile, is becoming increasingly frustrated by Anna’s reluctance to get intimate, and confides in daughter Rosie that he fears their relationship is over.
As Liz urges her friend to decide what she wants from life and to go for it, Erica grabs the bull by the horns and suggests to the mechanic that they meet up. She feels guilty when Dev later tells her that he’s booked them an afternoon of luxury and a meal out, but, when push comes to shove, the thought of a Webster workout is far more appealing, and she lies to Dev that she’s meeting an old friend.
Over at the hotel, Erica sips Champagne in the bar as she waits for Kev to arrive. Is he about to put a spring in her step? Well, no, because her afternoon doesn’t quite live up to her expectations...
Back on the cobbles, Anna tells Kevin she wants to start afresh. Kev then tells Erica that the café worker is the woman for him, and apologises for letting her down. Disappointed, Erica struggles to garner any enthusiasm for her and Dev’s relationship, and she tells her boyfriend they need to have a talk. Is Dev about to get dumped?
