Darren Osborne does his best, bless him, but he always manages to mess up. Desperate to raise cash so that Nancy can have the best treatment for MS, he’s turned weed dealer. But when Tom and Alfie find his stash in the loft, things go to pot, if you’ll pardon the pun.
Hearing Nancy say that she intends to go up there, the pair get rid of it to save Darren’s skin. They then try to sell Shane herbs, hoping he won’t notice. Once he cottons on to their scam, Shane demands Darren make up for the mess by delivering a parcel of heroin for him. Dazzle’s a nervous wreck as he sets out on the drop, and he’s almost caught out by Ryan. As he returns home, Shane offers him cash to do more of the same. Will Darren agree?
Elsewhere, Courtney decides that going back to Scotland is best thing for her and the baby. And Leela worries as creepy DC Armstrong acts as Cindy’s protector, and gets herself a job as Cindy’s cleaner so she can catch him out. But Armstrong is one step ahead and plants Cindy’s engagement ring on her, then watches her via his webcam. Is Leela about to be framed? And can she find a way to prove to Cindy that the copper’s a wrong’un?
