The chilling true story of what happened when star wrestler Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) was spotted by millionaire John du Pont (a sinister Steve Carell) and invited to train at his ranch for the 1988 Olympics. This creepy drama about the relationship between the rich and people they see as minions also stirs patriotism and sexual desire into the mix. Carell, in particular, is a standout.
