An edgy follow-up to A Single Man by director Tom Ford. Amy Adams is the unhappily married woman receiving a novel written by her ex (Jake Gyllenhaal), a story of a man (also Gyllenhaal) and his wife being menaced by rednecks which seems to be pointing an accusing finger at her.
