During Alaska’s summer feast, salmon sharks travel from the waters of California to Alaska’s river estuaries to feed upon the millions of salmon as they journey inland.
‘Salmon sharks are like small, dark, great white sharks,’ says Steve. ‘They can grow up to 10 feet. Sometimes when the water is calm, you can see their dorsal fins from miles away. We’re hoping to get into the water with them.’
