Bellamy (right), who plays Laurel, says she has no intention of ever quitting the soap. ‘I’ve got many unemployed friends in the profession, so I’m so lucky to come to work every day – all of us soap actors are,’ she says. ‘and everyone’s so nice here: there are no egos. Why would I ever want to leave?’ emma Atkins (left) would like Charity’s next boyfriend to be a little different. ‘It would be good if it was someone un-charity like; someone she had a connection with but whom people wouldn’t expect her to date,’ she tells us. ‘Instead of always going for the man with the money, maybe she could have someone who didn’t have anything, but who she was just drawn to.’
