Who’s stalking Michelle?
Her car is vandalised and she thinks she’s being watched…
Michelle Connor probably thought that when she hooked up with Robert Preston, the biggest drama she’d have to deal with would be an over-order of olives. But Mr Reliable has suddenly become Mr Risky.
The chef has brought trouble to their door in the shape of his old pal, Rich, and after a series of spooky incidents last week, things are about to get a whole lot worse for the couple...
Rich vowed revenge when Robert grassed him up for drug dealing, and is the obvious suspect for the recent attacks. So Robert is naturally hackedoff when the police tell him that Rich has a cast-iron alibi.
To add to his woes, Chesney wants compensation for his stabbing ordeal. Although he agrees to settle for £5k – half of what solicitor Adam was gunning for – Robert doesn’t have the means to pay him and heads to a casino, hoping to get lucky on the roulette table. Will his gamble pay off ?
Returning to the cobbles, Robert’s horrified to see that Michelle’s car has been vandalised, and persuades
Luke to fix it before she finds out. He then meets up with
Rich and orders him to put a stop to his stunts – but he denies all knowledge.
Michelle finds out from Luke’s flatmate, Alya, about the attack on her motor, and rails at Robert for keeping her in the dark. It makes for a frosty atmosphere when the pair have drinks with her ex, Will, and Maria, who have started dating.
When Will and Maria decide to head into town, Michelle, desperate to escape, offers them a lift. But as she sits alone in a bar, she becomes aware that she’s being watched. Who is tailing her? And what do they want?
