The ‘Glorious’ Goodwood meeting begins at the Sussex Downs course today. Highlights will be the Sussex Stakes (Wednesday), the Goodwood Cup (Thursday) and the Nassau Stakes (Saturday). Frankie Dettori (if injury allows) is likely to ride in the Nassau Stakes but, initially, all eyes will be on the Sussex Stakes, with Ribchester and jockey William Buick the early favourites, battling strong competition from Ryan Moore riding Churchill.
