Things hot up as tongues wag over who’s the real father of Elizabeth’s child
After Aunt Agatha got her revenge on George by sharing her suspicions about baby Valentine’s paternity last week, the dastardly one is now in turmoil over the possibility that it’s his nemesis, Ross, rather than himself, who is actually the father of Elizabeth’s child. George cross-examines Dwight over Valentine’s legitimacy, but, of course, the doc can give no cast-iron guarantees and so George continues with his policy of distancing himself from Elizabeth… Elsewhere, Demelza and Hugh continue flirting up a storm – and, this time, Ross definitely notices! – and there’s a glimmer of hope for sweet Morwenna. A solid episode that sets the stage perfectly for next week’s explosive finale…
