‘Slow TV’ has been – slowly, of course – gaining a lot of fans in recent years, with realtime journeys, log fires and even knitting relaxing viewers on streaming platforms. BBC4 was an early adopter with films such as The Great Reindeer Migration (currently on iplayer) and All Aboard! The Country Bus. Tonight there’s another chance to take a two-hour, real-time trip on the Kennet and Avon Canal. ★★★★ JP
