Ry Cooder co-produced the second solo album by the sweet-voiced septuagenarian bolero singer and declared, “I don’t think anybody other than Ibrahim could make a record like this. It has every kind of nuance and subtlety, as well as muscle.” The guitars of Cooder and Manuel Galbán combine sinuously and a team of BVSC veterans lend immaculate support. 8/10
