the commercial success of Charlie rich owed much to singersongwriter Norro Wilson. together with rory bourke and producer billy Sherrill, Wilson wrote 1973’s “the Most beautiful Girl”, the single that made rich an international country star. A year later, he and Sherrill teamed up again for rich’s Grammy-winning “A Very Special love Song”. Wilson also co-wrote for George Jones and tammy Wynette, as well as producing albums for Shania twain, Kenny Chesney, reba Mcentire, Charley Pride, Keith Whitley and more.
