THE CD REVIVAl STARTS HERE!

In reply to Tog’s mail in last month’s Uncut regarding the suitability of the monthly free CD [Uncut, August], I have to respectfully disagree. From the moment I see the tweet from John Mulvey announcing the imminent arrival of the latest issue, excitement levels rise while I zoom in on the small pic of the new cover to see who’s included on the new disc! I drive to work daily, so the new music CD is always in my disc player, and while I adore the magazine, the CD is definitely the highlight, having introduced me to umpteen bands over many years and hopefully more to come. Also, loved the Gregg Allman piece, lovely tribute to a remarkable talent
