Little Feat guitarist (1948–2019)
Paul Barrere failed his audition as bassist during Little Feat’s formation in 1969, but finally joined as guitar player and occasional lead vocalist three years later. His arrival coincided with the sessions for Dixie Chicken, for which he cowrote “Walkin’ All Nigh”. Other key contributions during his decadeslong tenure with the band included “Skin It Back” and “Hi Roller”.
