Super hero does wonders for shopping centre

-

A SPECIAL guest caused a stir in town this week, as Wonder Woman appeared at intu Uxbridge as part of the DC Super Hero takeover this summer with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

The fictional character flew into the shopping centre to meet young shoppers on Thursday August 18, stopping for pictures with all fans.

It’s not the first time a superhero has been seen this summer at intu Uxbridge, as Batman joined them on Friday August 5.

There’s still one more special guest to arrive too, as Superman makes his grand appearance on Friday September 2.

intu Uxbridge is also inspiring members of its kids club to ‘be a DC Super Hero this summer’ by running a series of Super Hero workshops where activities include making superhero accessories, learning superhero skills and dressing up fun.

And they can take part in DC Super Hero missions of their own by tracking down Super-Villains like The Joker and The Penguin who will be hidden in each centre.

Natasha House, Marketing Manager at intu Uxbridge said: “We’re excited to bring families in Uxbridge the world’s best known Super Heroes this summer, offering free DC Super Hero-inspired entertainment that is certain to put a smile on the face of all our customers.

“Our selection of fantastic activities, events and DC Super Hero costume character meet and greets during the holidays that will make sure children leave intu Uxbridge even more of a Super Hero than when they came in.”

intu’s DC Super Hero summer lasts until September 2.
