Joe hits four for flying Explorers

-

JOE Rossiter sent West Drayton Explorers U10 Reds into seventh heaven on Sunday.

Rossiter proved a real sharpshooter bagging four goals in his side’s 7-1 win at home to Old Windsor, with team-mates Harry Todd, Tristan Villacrusis and Jacob Hughes were also on target.

The U7s were Explorers’ highest scorers of the week, boasting not one, not two, but three hat-trick heroes within their ranks.

Amandio Moreiro, Filip Ponski and Kajus Cepas were the trio all with claims to the match-ball with Aston Odeyale’s strike making the tally up to double figures in a 10-0 win over Delaford Colts.

U8 Blue Daniel Mickale was the other hat-trick hero this week and with teammate Natu Yohannes chipping in with a double they overcame Boyle Hill Bullet Black 5-1.

This was a score matched by the U11s against Youngs FC. Reece Butler and Alfie Stevens bagged braces in the victory in which Freddie Mullock was the other youngster on target.

And the U16s were the other Explorers team to win, beating Wendover Juniors 4-1 thanks to Zubair Naseri’s double and one each for Charlie Rogers and Ted O’Brien.

Comeback of the week belonged to the U13s who trailed 3-0 at half-time away at Burnham Junior Panther Yellows but rallied to earn a 3-3 draw thanks to strikes from Alfie Taylor, Gurveer Rattan and Armari Adams.

Meanwhile, Aran Brar and Szymon Kowalcyzk were on target for the U15s in their 2-2 draw at George Green, while the U10 Purples also shared four goals with Boyle Hill, Senators Mahdere and Rokas Darzinskas on the scoresheet.

Elsewhere, goals for Marcus Valero and Oliver Langley could not save the U9 Reds from a 4-2 defeat at home to Burnham Junior Jaguars Whites, while an Aleks Kovalenko strike was consolation for the U8 reds as they too lost 7-1 to Burnham Junior Reds.

And the U10 Blues were on the wrong end of a 9-0 score-line at Chalfont Saints.
