Cancer charity’s volunteer call

Centre offers information and support

which offers information and support to people with cancer and their carers.

The charity is calling on the community to get involved to help run services.

Natalie Etienne, who works with CCC, said: “A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all of the CCC volunteers.

“We have a total of 50 volunteers, some of whom work or are currently unwell so could not be with us at the centre today. You were all greatly missed. The Community Cancer Centre volunteers offer their precious time, dedication and commitment to supporting cancer patients and loved ones.

“They are all so valuable and make up a wonderfully close and strongly connected team. “Well done to you all.” The centre wanted to thank local businesses Peri Peri Chicken, Poppins Cafe, Go Go Pizza, Reena’s and Roses are Red who all donated to help run the award ceremony.
