The founder of Dione Gachette Interior Design Me has turned a childhood hobby into a thriving business with international clients
INTERIOR designer Dione Gachette, based in Buckinghamshire, can usually be found surrounded by beautiful materials, fabrics, colour charts, sketch books and drawing boards.
Dione has recently established her new company, Dione Gachette Interior Design Me, and now wants to introduce her design talent to properties around Hillingdon and Buckinghamshire.
Dione is extremely enthusiastic and passionate about her work, creating exciting design ideas for her clients to review. She prepares an in-depth concept, finalising fabrics, materials, and a design simulation for implementation by clients’ preferred contractors.
All Dione’s designs are unique and original and are created for each exciting new project. Dione is currently working on a new project – a townhouse close to Park Lane, in London’s prestigious Mayfair.
“The five bedroom townhouse was built in the 1820s and is one of very few unconverted townhouses that still exist in Mayfair, as many were either demolished or transformed into apartments in the 1930s. I’m looking at a design scheme that will complement this very grand original residence, which has been vacant and unloved for a number of years.
“My designs will provide the nurturing the building deserves,” said Dione.
Her interior designs will comprise brilliant whites and jade greens together with pastel upholstery with various indoor palm trees encouraged by the strong natural light throughout the building, but in keeping with the taste of a traditional English townhouse of the Regency period, with a French themed twist. Dione also intends to include the latest electronic technology to give a modern emphasis.
“Returning home and closing the door should be a wonderful experience, where you leave your worries outside, and where the ambience of your home provides an escape and peace of mind away from the hustle and bustle of a hectic day,” she said.
Dione has turned a hobby of experimenting with colours, fabrics and materials and coming up with schemes for friends and family, into a highly recommended, sought-after international interior design firm, Dione Gachette Interior Design Me, working with clients from overseas royal families, diplomats and celebrities.
Dione has created numerous spectacular concepts for her many clients, most of whom have come to her through worldwide personal recommendations.
