COUPLE CELEBRATING 33RD VALENTINE’S DAY TOGETHER GET PRESENTS FROM LOCAL SUPERMARKET

A LOCAL loving couple has been treated to a selection of goodies as they celebrate their 37th Valentine’s Day together.

Wendy and Richard Capehorn who have been married for 33 years were invited to Asda Hayes to collect their prize.

The couple who support each other by working together running the W.I group here in Hayes, have revealed their secret to a long and happy marriage is being prepared to work at a relationship and seeing each other as equals.

Wendy said “I was a part-time bar maid and Richard use to come in for a drink on his way home, the rest is history as they say…

“The best thing about working together is knowing each other’s needs and seeing more of one another, as we are best friends and soul mates.

“Thank you to all the lovely colleagues at Asda Hayes for making this Valentine’s extra special”

Wendy is in charge of the W.I group, who use Asda Hayes’ community room for their regular ‘Knit and Natter’ meetings, where Richard helps and supports her.

Community colleague Sam D’Souza, commented: “Wendy and Richard were overwhelmed with their hamper and flowers, they often visit the store to pick up their shopping and I’ve had such a laugh with them.

“Richard has a great sense of humour and banter and sometimes gives the ladies a lift home so that they don’t have to get the bus or walk.”
