Second time lucky for Harley

-

COULD you offer a loving home to an extra-special animal in our care?

Adopting a rescue cat is a very rewarding experience and gives our feline friends the second chance they deserve.

Harley is one of the cats in our care, keeping his paws crossed for a forever home in 2019.

Harley is a very sweet young man looking for a very special someone to offer him a loving forever home.

He was sadly returned to us in February 2018 as his previous owner was no longer able to cope with his day to day care.

Harley had developed an intestinal upset, which kept the vets completely bamboozled, after numerous tests, and visits to the specialist no one was able to determine the cause of the problem.

However, a course of treatment was suggested which we are pleased to say seems to have done the trick.

Harley will still require a gastrointestinal diet indefinitely, but he has been medication free for months now without any problems just the odd loose stool every now and then.

Despite all he has been through, Harley remains the most loving, affectionate little man.

He isn’t much of a lap cat, but loves a cuddle at bedtime where he will often come and lie on you or next to you but rarely sits on the sofa. He loves head tickles and having his back rubbed.

Grooming is an absolute favourite, he will often follow you around the house when you’re at home keeping a close check on what you’re up to simply enjoying being in your company.

He is very playful and loves being able to explore the outside world so a garden is going to be essential.

Harley isn’t keen on being picked up even now, but the better he knows you the more trusting he will be and he will tolerate it more and more.

He is looking for a home with adult owners, as the only pet, and will be happy amusing himself whilst you’re at work as long as he has a cat flap to get out and about.

If you think, you could offer a forever home to Harley or any of the

cats, rabbits or small animals we currently have in our care looking for a home for life, then please call us on 020 8966 9688 or email us at info@rspcamiddlesex.org.uk.
