He’ll love you from scratch

-

SANTOS came into the care of Dogs Trust West London when his owner’s circumstances changed and sadly they could no longer keep him.

This lovable nine-year-old staffie has a heart of gold and loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa.

He is a sweet, loving boy who adores being around people, especially those who make a fuss of him.

Santos loves his toys, but be warned, he also enjoys ripping them up!

His new family will have to have lots on standby to keep him entertained and make sure he has lots of enrichment when he is left alone.

Santos’ social skills with other dogs are a little rusty, because he hadn’t met a fellow pooch for around two years prior to being handed in.

The team at the centre are working on his interactions with other dogs and Santos will need owners who are willing to continue his socialisation and help him make some four-leggedfriends.

Santos will do anything for a treat, so training will be enjoyable for both him and his special someone.

This lovely lad will need to be the only dog in the home and have a private garden where he can run around and explore.

He can live with children aged 10 and over.

Dogs Trust London Rehoming Centre Manager, Richard Moore said: “When we first met Santos last month, we thought he would fly out of Rehoming Centre doors, but four weeks on and we can’t understand why he hasn’t found his forever home.

“Santos is such a soppy staffie who will love anyone who gives him a bumscratch and a treat.

“We are hoping that people aren’t put off by the training he needs around other dogs and that they will come in and be won over by his charms!”

If you are interested in rehoming Santos, or any of the other pooches at Dogs Trust West London, please visit the centre or call the team on 01895 544544.
