Deliveroo
THE 9 million listeners who tune into Evans’s early morning-Radio 2 broadcasts might think that he spends all 3 hours of his music-filled programme in the studio, perhaps only nipping out for occasional bowel movement during the news. But thy’d be wrong, because the canny star has even found a way to multi-task and make more money while his show is on the air. Every time he puts a record on the turntable, Evans runs out of the studio, jumps on his moped and makes a Deliveroo run, carrying fast food to a property within a 11/ minute radius of Broadcasting House. If an order comes in from fur2 ther afield, the DJ merely puts on a longer song, such as Bohemian Rhap
sody, the full version of American Pie or something by Pink Floyd. Coining in £7 an hour plus £1 for each food drop, he can easily rake in £46 during a typical 3-hour broadcast… on top of his £2.5 million wages.
