BRYMBO caused a major upset when they sent leaders North Wales League leaders Llandudno plunging to a fivewicket defeat.

Put into bat the Seasiders who have won the crown eight times in the past 12 seasons were dismissed for 138 with Robin Smith the only notable scorer hitting 37.

Connor Davies took 4 for 29 and Gareth Boys did even better capturing 4 for only 22.

Brymbo knocked off the runs for the loss of just five wickets,Daniel Parry hitting a fine 59. Gareth Pugh weighed in with 25 and Jake James contributed 24. FOR the second Saturday on the trot the entire West Wales Conference programme was washed out yesterday meaning Aberystwyth are moving smoothly towards the title playing only a limited amount of cricket.

Aberystwyth are currently on the 35-point mark some points clear of the Commoners having played a game more with Llanwrda a distant third.
