GLAMORGAN will aim for a five-figure crowd when they entertain Yorkshire at the The SSE SWALEC in the NatWest T20 Blast fixture in 10 days time.

Club officials have set the prices at £10 and £5 for the match which will take place on Thursday, August 11 and start at 7pm. Tickets go on sale today.

Glamorgan consolidated their second-place in the south section on Friday night with their abandoned final group game against Essex where South African Colin Ingram produced a truly brilliant century before the rain intervened.

However, Glamorgan will now turn their attention to the 50-over format today when they face a must-win match in the Royal London One Day Cup against Hampshire, as festival cricket begins at Swansea’s St Helen’s ground (11am).

Will Bragg is called up, while Aneurin Donald will make a return to his hometown, with a strong crowd expected in Swansea for the 50-over match.

Bragg joins Ruaidhri Smith and Nick Selman, alongside the regular faces, as Glamorgan face their penultimate match in the group stages still in with a chance of securing a quarter-final.

Donald, the 19-year-old batsman, has been making waves with his per- formances in the Glamorgan first team this season, including an world-record equaling 234 off 135 balls at Colwyn Bay, admitted it was exciting to return to Swansea.

“The boys are excited to go down there,” said Donald, who hails from Gorseinon.

“It’s nice for my family as they don’t have to travel too far, but it will also bring different challenges, which we’ll have to switch on to. But it’s always nice to make a few trips around Wales, as Colwyn Bay showed.

“If we can make our out-grounds fortresses and spread the word around Wales, I guess that can only be good for Glamorgan.”

Glamorgan are currently sitting just outside the four qualification places, with five teams all level on six points from six games – including Sunday’s visitors Hampshire. For Donald, it is another hugely important game for Glamorgan.

“We’re still in the hunt (for a Royal London quarter-final),” insisted Donald.

“We’re going to need a couple of good performances to finish off the group stages, but if we can make the quarter-finals of both the T20 and the One-Day competitions, that’ll be a good year for us in the white-ball competitions.

“It’s just about kicking on now and making it count for the end of the year.”

Swansea are determined to keep attracting Glamorgan back to St Helen’s
