IT might have been a couple e of years since identical twins Kyle and Josh Brooks appeared on The X Factor. But the pair, who are from Penarth, enarth, are back this year as they give the talent showw another bash. We first saw them in 2014, whenen the brothers were 15.

They got to Louis Walsh’s house se in Bermuda and said they were “gutted” when they didn’t get through.

Louis told them at the time: “I think hink in a year or two you’re going to be incredible” edible” and they’re back tonight to prove him right.

“We totally understand where Louisouis was coming from. We’ve worked hard rd and there’s a huge improvement from those hose two little 15-year-old boys,” the pair say.

They are once again joined by their heir nan, Collette, at the audition, whoho is their legal guardian and has broughtought them up.

They previously put their success ess down to Collette, who has cared for and guided them since she became their legal guardianardian when they were 18 months old.

Then they described their grandmother ndmother as their “role model” and “our world”. ”.

She is supporting them yet again,n, and ahead of their audition said: “I’m bursting with pride and I just want them to do really well.”

The former Stanwell Comprehensive School pupils haven’t auditioned in front of Nicole or Sharon but are clearly remembered by Simon and Louis.

They may be back for another shot at success but they have gone from strength to strength since they first appeared on TV and now have a hefty 90.5K followers on Twitter, as well as an agent.

They said they’ve been gigging in the years that have passed since their first audition, and building their confidence.

Two other Welsh contestants have already appeared on this year’s X Factor.

Kayleigh Marie Morgan, from Clydach, was the first Welsh contestant to appear on this year’s X Factor and got four yeses.

It wasn’t quite such good news for 75-year-old former mechanic Peter Knox, from Swansea, who was denied the chance to go to the next round by all four judges on last night’s show.

The X Factor is on ITV today at 8pm and the Xtra Factor is on 9pmp on ITV2
