LEADERS Goytre extended their advantage at the top of Division One to three points despite being held to a 2-2 draw at Haverfordw­est County.

County took a shock lead in the third minute through Rhys Dalling but Gwent-based Goytre took only four minutes to level the scores with Luke Prosser restoring parity.

Kris Leek then fired the visitors ahead as Goytre looked set to make it five victories in a row but striker Steffan Williams ensured the points would be shared with a 78th-minute equaliser.

Cambrian & Clydach moved down to third after a surprise 3-1 defeat at home to Penybont, who are now sixth after a disappoint­ing start to the season, Keiron Tolland, Callum Kinsella and Billy Borge were all on the scoresheet for Penybont with Sam Jones scoring for Cambrian & Clydach.

Afan Lido took advantage of Cambrian & Clydach’s slip up to move into second spot with a 2-1 success against Risca United. Carlos Indjai grabbed an early goal for Afan Lido in just the second minute but Seb Haggett replied three minutes later for Risca.

The game was set to finish as a draw until the referee awarded Afan Lido a late penalty and Chris Hartland stepped up to secure the victory.

In Division Two, Kyle Graves and Lee Bevan both scored in a 2-0 Llanelli win over Croesyceil­og as the Reds stayed on top. Their lead was extended to four points after secondplac­ed Porth drew 1-1 against Cwmamman United.

Careau went to the top of Division Three thanks to a brace from Tom Walters in their 2-0 win over Trethomas Bluebirds. PRESTATYN TOWN continued to put their financial woes to one side by maintainin­g a six-point gap at the top with a 2-0 win at home to Flint Town United.

Jordan Davies put the hosts into the lead with a penalty on half an hour, before Reece Fairhurst made sure of the points with a second goal 13 minutes from time.

Caernarfon Town ensured they kept the pressure on at the top of the table by seeing off visitors Mold with a 2-1 win.

Clive Williams opened the scoring for the hosts one minute before the break, before Lee Jones restored parity seven minutes after half-time. Kevin Lloyd earned the hosts a crucial winner.

Ruthin Town remain at the bottom of the league after they were thumped 6-0 at Conwy Borough, with Joe Chaplin earning himself a hat-trick, alongside strikes from Neil Harvey, Ben Glover and Lee Cravan.

Elsewhere, a late Alan Bull winner saw Denbigh Town claim a 3-2 result at Caersws, while Iddon Price also left it late to rescue a point for Porthmadog in a 1-1 draw at home to Penrhyncoc­h.
