LUKASZ FABIANSKI

Rarely called upon during his 100th Premier League appearance for the Swans but his acrobatic effort to clear a shot from Andre Gray which was deflected off Federico Fernandez was impressive. Looked his usual calm self under the high ball too.

KYLE NAUGHTON

A quiet afternoon for the right back as Swansea used the left flank as an attacking option with Olsson and Sigurdsson. He did however link up well with new boy Narsingh for parts of the first half but pulled up with a calf injury in the closing minutes.

ALFIE MAWSON

Not the best day in defence for the young centre back as Gray was left in far too much space to score Burnley’s second goal. But he once again proved that he can offer a real threat going forward, as he hit both the post and the crossbar in the space of five first half seconds.

FEDERICO FERNANDEZ

Not the best afternoon for the Argentine who was out-jumped by Ben Mee for Andre Gray’s second goal and struggled to deal with Gray’s pace and strength on the counter attack.

MARTIN OLSSON

The full back showed all his pace down the left flank as he overlapped with Sigurdsson to cause problems for the Burnley defence. Took his goal superbly too – a thunderous strike. His energy kept Lowton busy for the whole 90 minutes.

JACK CORK (CAPT)

Played the simple balls well and any knock downs on the edge of the Burnley box seemed to fall to his feet. Unable to hit the target with his efforts but led the team superbly. Picked the team up at 2-1 down and gave them the belief they could claw it back

TOM CARROLL

Another display to show just why Carroll was brought back to the Liberty. The diminutive midfielder worked tirelessly and was never caught in possession as he fed balls out wide to the marauding Narsingh and Olsson.

LEROY FER

Perhaps his most impressive match in a Swans shirt. The midfielder worked tirelessly and appeared switched on for a full 90 minutes - something you can’t always say about the Dutchman. Classy cross for Llorente’s first goal too.

LUCIANO NARSINGH

Handed his first start in Swansea shirt by Paul Clement but didn’t get a real opportunity to show off his immense pace as he has done with cameos from the bench. Subbed off with 20 minutes to go, but didn’t look out of place against a robust Burnley defence.

GYLFI SIGURDSSON

His set piece delivery was exceptional as always and consistently gave Swansea a route to goal. Played high up the pitch in support of Llorente and worked well from the Spaniard’s knock downs. Had the Burnley defence backpedaling on more than one occasion.
