Sunshine sees Wales get warmer than Spain

-

PEOPLE were out in Wales’ parks and on the beach making the most of the sunshine yesterday as the country was expected to be hotter than the likes of Turkey, Spain and Portugal.

It was a frosty start for many but the sunshine soon came out with highs of 17°C in some parts of the country.

Meanwhile, the mercury was set to reach 14°C in Barcelona, 12°C in parts of Turkey, 13°C in Lisbon, Portugal and 17°C in Ibiza.

Today is expected to be another dry and warm day with plenty of sunshine. It will feel pleasantly warm in light winds and maximum temperatures could again reach 17°C.

It is expected to turn a little cloudier from tomorrow but there will be some warm sunny spells.

It will be warm on Tuesday with sunshine and showers and could turn more unsettled on Wednesday with some outbreaks of light rain.
