WELSH League champions Barry Town United brought down the curtain on a fantastic campaign with a thumping 6-0 victory over Ton Pentre at Jenner Park.

Drew Fahiya scored a hat-trick for Gavin Chesterfield’s side as they signed off in style with TJ Nagi bagging a brace and Jordan Cotterill also on target.

Penybont secured themselves the runners-up spot with a 3-1 triumph at Taffs Well, thanks to goals from Kostya Georgievsky, Kane Owen and a Marcus Griffiths penalty, while late goals from Steffan Williams and Rhys Dalling gave Haverfordwest County a 2-1 win over Undy Athletic who took the lead through Ben Roberts.

Meanwhile Goytre edged out Port Talbot Town 2-1 with Lewis Sommers and Josh Brown on target, Jake Hammond replying for the Steelmen and the game between Goytre United and Caldicot Town finished scoreless.

Division Two champions Llanelli Town returned from Dinas Powys with a thumping 7-1 victory while a strike from William Lygo was enough to give Croesyceiliog the win at Aberdare Town.

Ammanford were 3-0 victors at Abergavenny Town with Matthew Jones, Tim Chapman and Gavin Jones on target while Briton Ferry Llansawel and Aberbargoed Buds shared in a 2-2 draw and it finished 3-3 in a thrilling game between Newport City and AFC Porth.

In Division Three, Treharris Western Athletic were big 5-1 winners against Trethomas Bluebirds with Jamie Wearn bagging a brace and Connor Berry, Josh Evans and David Mitchell also on target.

Title-chasing Llantwit Major were held 1-1 at Chepstow Town, with Leo Ross hitting a late equaliser after Luke Cox had put them in front. CAERNARFON Town became only the third team to defend the Huws Gray Cup as they enjoyed another final victory over Flint Town United at Conwy Borough’s Y Morfa Stadium.

In a repeat of last year’s showpiece, where Danny Brookwell and Nathan Craig helped the Canaries to secure a 2-1 victory, the defending champions produced a more commanding performance to seal a 3-0 success.

Brookwell fired Caernarfon into the lead within the first 15 minutes, just as he did last year, to settle any nerves before Jay Gibbs doubled their advantage two minutes later as the Canaries took full control of the showpiece tie.

Flint Town United tried to fight back but Caernarfon held their two-goal lead until the 75th minute when Kev Lloyd wrapped up the victory and the Canaries’ third cup triumph in four years.

Caernarfon, who finished as runners-up to Prestatyn Town in the Huws Gray Alliance, are now level with Bala Town with four cup successes to their name while Flint Town United are still searching for their first.
