12-YEAR-OLD SOPHIA’S IN FINE VOICE AS SHE WINS OVER JUDGES
A 12-YEAR-OLD from Wales has made it through to the next round of The Voice Kids after both Pixie Lott and Danny Jones turned for the Beyonce-loving singer.
Sophia, from Bargoed, was first up on the show and described herself and her family as “the Welsh Kardashians” because of their glamorous appearance.
She ended up picking Pixie Lott as her coach, and Lott told her: “My heart was beating so fast. I felt like I had to push the button, you have something really special in your voice.”
Will.i.am added: “You sang the hell out of that.”
The young singer, who is one of six siblings, dreams of being like Beyonce and has been singing since she was eight years old.
Make-up-obsessed Sophia said: “Today is my first performance outside of my house, I’ve only ever performed in front of five people.”
She added: “If it wasn’t for my sisters I wouldn’t have done this today, because I didn’t have the confidence.”
