AFTER months of hype, Justin Bieber finally brought his Canadian charm to Cardiff this week.

The superstar hit the Principality Stage on the latest leg of his Purpose World Tour on Friday, and fans weren’t left disappointed.

Some of his most dedicated followers, known as Beliebers, camped outside the stadium for up to three days in hope of catching a glimpse of the pop star.

People travelled from across Europe to see the Sorry singer work his magic on the stage.

It was a particularly unforgettable night for a group of youngsters who were given the chance to join Bieber on stage.

The kids, believed to be from Cardiff, joined the megastar for a special performance of his song Children.

The song, which opens with the line, “what about the children?”, is all about the need for change.

He welcomed the local kids on stage – hugging them all and thank- ing them for being a part of his show.

Ahead of the gig, Georgia Taylor, from Bournemouth, said: “Justin is amazing. He’s done a lot for me, helping me in different ways.

“His music helped me to overcome my anxiety, especially the song Be Alright.

“It helped me to get out of the house when I couldn’t leave.

“I got the lyrics tattooed on my body last year.”

Rafael Garcia, 23, travelled from Spain to see the star perform.

He added: “I’m here with my girlfriend to see Justin Bieber.

“When I first met my girlfriend she told me she was a Belieber.

“Over time I’ve realised that Justin Bieber is not just a great star; he is a human and he has so many feelings. He’s moving the world and it’s just amazing.”

Even though Bieber made thou- sands of fans happy on Friday night, there was a slight glitch in the show.

The star got a splinter as he performed Purpose – the title track to his latest album.

As he sat down on the stage he injured his hand.

The singer was seen to be a little bemused following the incident.

As well as performing rforming songs from his latest album, he also sang favourites such as Boyfriend and Baby. y.
